arena was founded in 1973 and in just two years was
already on the top of the podium.
The arena brand was created by Horst Dassler. During the 1972
Munich summer games, Dassler was pool side when Mark Spitz
won his historic 7 medals.
Dassler like many others was in awe of this great achievement and
immediately started forming plans for a swimwear company
dedicated to aquatic sports and the created the new performance
swimwear brand known today as arena.
As well as top of the range performance swimwear arena also have
training costumes designed on different themes each season, a
range of goggles for racing, training or for just having a splash
about, training aids to help you perfect your techniques and a
collection of bags to keep all your kit together.
